Meet in public places

Arrange to meet in a public, busy place, preferably with cameras or near police services. Do not invite strangers to your home or go to theirs on your own.

Inspect before you pay

Check the item in person before handing over your money. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Never pay in advance

Be wary of anyone asking for a deposit or upfront payment to hold an item or to cover shipping costs outside the platform.

Protect your data

Share only what is needed for the deal. Do not give out your full address, identity documents or bank details before agreeing on a safe meeting.

Keep the conversation inside the platform. That way we keep a record of the exchange and can help if something goes wrong. If someone asks you to move off the platform, be suspicious.

Trust the ratings

Check the ratings and how long the account has been active before closing a deal. Be wary of brand-new accounts offering items at very low prices.
